Community Involvement
We are proud of our local communities and like to be as actively involved as possible. We have donated our compost to many different local projects, including a community garden, a local preschool garden, a garden seminar that was held at a local school, and have donated to multiple fundraisers. We want to help educate people in any way we can and providing product for them to dig in to is just one of those ways.
Quality Compost has partnered with Sustainable Soil Solutions to donate Trinity, and new compost soil amendment product to the Mac-Hi FFA program. Mac-Hi FFA runs two greenhouses each year that is used in educating students about soil and growing, and also provides the program with a great fundraising opportunity through the annual spring Plant Sale. This year, the chapter has plans to use Trinity to do different soil experiments that will teach students about soil quality and usage of soil amendments and to learn more about compost. All plants grown will be added to their annual Plant Sale inventory.
